Led by Taime Downe, the band captured the wild spirit of Los Angeles nightlife with their raw blend of sleaze, glam, punk attitude, and hard rock swagger. While many bands came and went, Faster Pussycat became a true Sunset Strip staple. They didn't just rule legendary venues like the Whisky a Go Go, the Roxy, and the Rainbow Bar & Grill—Downe’s own notorious club, The Cathouse, became the definitive ground zero for the entire movement.
